The BBC announced on twitter that the Freddie Mercury biopic is most likely dead now that Sacha Baron Cohen has dropped the project, making it twirl in the pit with other doomed projects. Production was hoped to begin in late 2013 directed by Tom Hooper ('Les Miserables' director) and Robert De Niro as a producer.
