It's not certain that Farrell is going to make a deal, but Patton is in talks for a leading role, and Duncan Jones, the movie director, is testing more actors for other major roles as we read on Deadline.
Warcraft finally begins filming in January, and since Legendary sealed a deal with Universal pictures, the movie is most likely going to be made there rather than at Warner Bros. Whole 'Warcraft' project has been postponed multiple times with its first release date announced for 2009, but now that the script is finished, it's finally getting back on the track.

ReplyDeleteWell as I remember alexander didn't do well in the states but better did well internationally but then again themovie was bbasically exploring alexanders sexuality with the constant making out and sleeping with Jared leto (can't remember his character name), his close relationship with his mother which bordered incest and trying to prove he was straight by doing Rosario dawson with like 1 or 2 main battle scenes. Kinda see why it didn't do well in the states.

ReplyDeleteMy only fear is that the actors and script will make scenes awekward. Let's hope that the entire screenplay will be as intense as the lore and games make it out to be.
Every cutscene warcraft has down was meant to place us in the moment. That truely is the magic of the games as well. So let's hope the movie plays on those strings and brings us to a magical setting of chaos and war with an elegant display of special effects and scores. Intensity is key to the fans, that and Accuracy.
