Echo - Smart Watch for Sport Enthusiasts

If you've ever wanted a smart watch to help you keep track of your heartbeat, distance, laps and more, this Magellan Echo is a solid option in the smart watch/fitness market.

The Echo is a sports-oriented smart watch that is completely tuned and geared for sports enthusiasts with a very long lasting battery. It solves the problem of viewing and controlling apps while your phone is tucked away, this watch will stream data and controls from your phone to your wrist. The watch case is ruggedized and is water resistant and the buttons are large and easy to use when winded from a long run. It also features an innovative tap-to-swap display feature wherein you can just slap/tap the face of the watch to cycle through available displays. The echo interfaces with just about every popular sports/outdoor app on the market, including MapMyRun, Strava, Wahoo Fitness, etc. The design is definitely sporty, but the watch isn't unsual looking so everyone can easily wear it anywhere they'd normally wear a sport-style watch without standing out.

It comes in five color combinations (black on black, also blue, orange, pink and gray bands with white faces) and in two packages. You can either pick up just the watch for $126 or the watch + heart monitor for $199, making is reasonably priced compared to other smart watches.

At the moment the watch is iOS only, although Magellan has a note on their website indicating Android support is coming soon.
