The unit contains a full SNES-mini board, original SNES buttons and the controller is mounted in the case. Shoulder buttons got mapped to the back as triggers. It also has an LCD screen from a Sony PS1 unit with the anti-glare film layer removed, making the picture sharper.

Here's, as Brian put it, the "badass handmade cartridge slot."

Brian's video briefly showing the process of making this piece of art and explaining all of its features:
The unit is powered by internal lithium polymer batteries (two 3.7v 4250 mAh tied in series) which take 2.5 hours to charge, and includes a smart charger that plugs directly into the bottom. It also includes a headphone jack and an A/V out jack for hooking up to a TV (you'd need to pick up a fairly-cheap cable to make use of the A/V out). He made the modified Polycase nice and flush, but still with slightly raised section for the buttons.
