What can’t the Texas Instruments TI-83 and TI-84 do? We have seen Mario clones, puzzle games and more on this graphing calculator, and of course math related stuff. Now, we can add an unofficial Super Smash Bros game to the long list of things you can do on your TI-83/84 that are not specifically related to pretty much anything these devices were meant to do.
The person responsible for this port is known as “Hayleia” on the Omnimaga Forums and is not new to these types of ports. According to Retro Game Network, Hayleia is also responsible for the 2011 demake of a Pokemon title. This port is not the full blown game, right now it only contains Falco and Fox but development continues. This port is open source so anyone can download it, modify it and improve it as they see fit. The base game allows for two players to battle it out on a single calculator screen using opposing sides of the calculator keyboard.
